
Nutrition Tips Page
On This page you can find some tips regarding what to eat and mainly what not to eat,
again, as you can imagine I try to keep it simple so it is easy to do.
All these tips have been done personaly
(and even though eating, and eating junk food, is one of my hobbies, i got it done).
Nutrition Tips
- Try to use healthy food items to create special and creative snacks for kids: try out stuff like apple slices with peanut buuter or a waffle cone filled with fruites with low fat vanilla yogurt on top, options are endless.
- Even on the road when all you have around you is fast food restaurants you can choose wisely and take the healthier items there such as the McDonald's Egg McMuffin (dont be tampted to add stuff like hush browns) for breakfast, a Subway low fat sandwich or Wendy's Mandarin Chicken Salad for lunch and the Pizza Hut Thin 'N Crispy Veggie Lover's Pizza for a light dinner.
- When going to places which serve only food that are high in fat, sugar or salt (carnival or other similar places) try to be prepared, split your dish with someone, try to look for other and healthier options like yogurt stands and stuff like that, and never come to these places hungry.
- Grilled meats contains 2 cancer causing substances, so keep this in mind while grilling, try to keep it short (either remove the meat before it is well done or start off with the microwave and then switch over to the grill), try to stick to leaner meats and marinate the meat.
